Adam Streeter
Senior Statistician
Dr. Adam Streeter is a biostatistician with experience of working on clinical trials and observational studies and has a special interest in studies based on health records and registry data. He has also gained extensive experience in industry, leading the statistical validation of laboratory instruments and process control. While his experience primarily resides in statistical modelling and causal inference, he also has interests in machine learning with application to prediction modelling.
His therapeutic areas of interest have spanned neurology, oncology, cardiology and endocrinology, previously working a trial statistician on international cancer and neurology trials. He has a particular interest in causal inference methods and has published a number of studies with application to vaccination and respiratory medicine. He has recently led a UK NIHR-funded study investigating a potential modifying effect of statins on the effectiveness of influenza vaccination, based on electronic health records. Adam currently lives in Germany and has close research links with Muenster University as well as the University of Exeter Medical School and the University of Plymouth in the UK.
